Full-Time Retail Supervisor – Creeslough
Job Description
We have a great opportunity for someone to join our Brennan’s Creeslough team as a Full-Time Retail Supervisor. ( 5 day week – 40 hours ).
In Brennans, we are focussed on delivering high quality pharmacy services that meet the healthcare needs of the communities we serve. Our mission is to help our patients and customers live their healthiest lives so they can feel and look their best.
As our retail supervisor, you’ll often be the first person our customers meet instore. Our supervisors are responsible for running the retail operations of the pharmacy, welcoming customers instore, understanding their needs, and offering them guidance to the right products and services. On a busy day it can be challenging, yet if you love working with people and making a difference, it’s a very rewarding role. In return, we promise we’ll provide a supportive team, full training and a varied working environment where no two days are quite the same.
We are looking for someone who is a team player who can take on the following duties and responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all retail operations of the Brennan’s Pharmacy are executed with excellence in line with Brennan’s agreed standards.
- Engaging actively with customers and patients to provide the highest standard in customer care.
- Driving sales and actively managing the retail budget and business plan.
- Managing stock and cash in line with company procedures.
- Ensuring the Pharmacy is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Assisting our pharmacists and technicians with cross functional duties in the dispensary as required.
- Encouraging colleague development through delegation of retail responsibilities to others when needed.
- Contributing to Brennans Pharmacy retail strategy by improving products/range selection, processes and performance.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Be organised and flexible with a proven ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Have excellent communication skills and enjoy helping others in their community.
- Be someone who understands that discretion, confidentiality and empathy, are at the heart of an excellent pharmacy service.
- Demonstrate a genuine interest in their own health and wellbeing.
- Be suited to a full time role, working 5 days out of 6.
- Have proven computer literacy.
- Have passed Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 1 year previous experience in a customer facing environment. (essential)
- Have previous Pharmacy experience (desirable)
- Full clean driving license and willingness to work at other locations if required. (essential)
