Directions:

1 tablet daily unless advised otherwise. Preferably take the tablets whole with or after a meal.

What is BioActive Garlic?

BioActive Garlic contains tablets with highly concentrated garlic. One tablet contains 300 mg of dried garlic powder with a standardized content of the alliin. BioActive Garlic is produced in a way that preserves the active ingredients and their enzyme activity that is known from fresh garlic.

When alliin comes into contact with the enzyme alliinase they form allicin. Allicin is what gives garlic its characteristic odor. Alliin and allinase are contained in different parts of the garlic clove. They mix if you cut, slice, chop or chew the clove.

The tablets in BioActive  Garlic are coated to prevent them from dissolving in the stomach. The tablets remain intact and do not dissolve until they reach the small intestine. Here, alliinase and allicin react and are converted into allicin. Because of the delayed action, their content of alliin and alliinase is protected against the stomach acid. Also, it reduces significantly the risk of garlic breath.

Strength
Ingestion of 2-3 tablets of BioActive  Garlic per day is equivalent to ½ -1 clove of garlic or 1.8 - 2.7 g of fresh garlic

BioActive Garlic may be used by pregnant and lactating women.
