It is a traditional topical preparation that contains zinc and is applied to protect the skin from irritation. Zinc oxide acts as a skin barrier to prevent and heal skin irritation.
Ovelle zinc and castor oil ointment is commonly used as a protective water-resistant cream for dry or chapped skin, it is known for use on nappy rash.

How To Use:
Apply liberally to baby's skin during nappy changes to soothe and protect skin from irritation. As a skin barrier cream: Apply as often as required to the affected area. Suitable for frequent use on babies, children & adults.

- Zinc and Castor Oil Ointment BP contains Arachis Oil (peanut oil) and should not be applied by patients known to be allergic to peanut. As there is a possible relationship between allergy to peanut and allergy to Soya, patients with soya allergy should also avoid Zinc and Castor Oil Ointment BP.
